ACTION:

KEY INGREDIENTS:
CoQ10 40mg: A powerful antioxidant known to support proper heart and blood pressure function. This vitamin-like substance is, by nature, present in all human cells and responsible for the production of the body’s own energy. MAGNESIUM (asparate) 10mg: Magnesium is a very important essential macro mineral, even though there are only several ounces in the body (0.05 percent of body weight). It is involved in several hundred enzymatic reactions, many of which contribute to production of energy and cardiovascular function. Decreased blood and tissue levels of magnesium have been shown to be related to high blood pressure, kidney stones, heart disease and, particularly, heart attacks due to coronary artery spasm (magnesium helps relax and dilate coronary arteries). Studies have indicated that a decreased concentration of magnesium is found in the heart and blood of heart attack victims though it is not clear whether this is a cause or a result of the problem.
HAWTHORN BERRIES STD EXTRACT (2%) (Crataegus oxyacantha): Although not recommended in emergencies due to its slow action, Hawthorn Berries is known for its heart sustaining action. It is general tonic for heart disease patients. Specifically it is indicated for endocarditis, myocarditis and pericarditis. It can be used over a prolonged period without danger of toxic problems. It also aids heart rhythm.
MOTHERWORT (Leonurus cardiac): Its Latin name, cardiaca, indicates a heart tonic. It is considered an antispasmodic anodyne and an emmenagogue. It's also considered a nervine and favorably influences nervous tension and muscular rigidity. It seems to have a sedative action and is recommended for irritated conditions and anti-rest spasms, such as wakefulness, restlessness and disturbed sleep.
VALERIAN ROOT (Valeriana officinalis): An anti-spasmodic and a nervine. Valerian is used for epilepsy, headaches, mental depression, and despondency. It is also a cerebral and spinal stimulant. It's considered a fine carminative for all types of nervousness. It deals well with lack of muscle coordination. Valerian has a gentle stimulating influence in matters involving nervousness or depression.
CAYENNE PEPPER (Capsicum annum): This herb, a specific dilator or vasodilator, is high in vitamin C and bioflavons which are needed for vascular integrity. Considered the purest stimulant in nature, Cayenne is highly stimulating, and yet not irritating to the system. It also acts to strengthen the heart and vascular system. It seems to influence better vascular tone. Considered a vasometer stimulant and nerve stimulant revulsant, Cayenne also stimulates the viscera thus influencing the heart, and thereby mildly and gently increases its force and rate.
L-TAURINE:The non-essential amino acid L-Taurine may exhibit hypotensive properties. The Japan Heart Journal presented research showing the correlation between supplemental taurine and reduced blood pressure levels.
SELENIUM: Selenium is an essential trace mineral that is widely regarded in scientific communities as a potentially powerful antioxidant. Studies suggest that it may protect against cardiovascular disease and certain forms of cancer.
