ACTION:

CRANESBILL ROOT: Effectively acts as an astringent, treats inflammation, hemorrhoids, and diarrhea, and reduces passive bleeding and more. It is also used to stop either internal or external bleeding and to promote healing of burns.

WITCH HAZEL: Witch hazel is thought to have astringent and haemostatic (stop bleeding) properties. These effects are thought to be because of the presence of a relatively high concentration of tannins in the leaf, bark, and extract as well as other unknown mechanisms of action.It acts as an astringent and helps contract the uterine tissue.

RASPBERRY LEAVES: Red Raspberry is used as a basic herbal foundation for all female organs and problems. Strengthens wall of uterus and entire female reproductive system and decreases profuse menstrual flow.

SHEPHERD'S PURSE: Shepherd's purse is used to stop heavy bleeding and hemorrhaging, particularly from the uterus. When taken internally, shepherd's purse can reduce heavy menstrual periods, and it has been used to treat postpartum hemorrhage. An astringent agent, shepherd's purse constricts blood vessels, thereby reducing blood flow. Shepherd's purse is also thought to cause the uterine muscle to contract, which also helps reduce bleeding.

BLACK HAW: It is said to support overall uterine function, help regulate excessive blood flow during menstruation and menopause, and ease postpartum, uterine and ovarian pain. Moreover, the herb is mildly sedative and helps to relieve many nervous conditions. Black Haw has been used to relieve cramps of all kinds, including menstrual pains; and as an herbal muscle relaxant and antispasmodic, it helps to loosen up tight muscles, as well as ease spasms and pains in the lower back and legs.

COMFREY ROOT: Comfrey has also been used internally for stomach upset, stomach ulcers, hemorrhoids, and diarrhea. Is astringent and anti-inflammatory.

YARROW: Yarrow is often used in herbal remedies designed to treat heavy bleeding from menstrual periods, bleeding ulcers and more.

BAYBERRY: Bayberry has been used to treat bleeding of all kinds, whether from the stomach, lungs, uterine hemorrhaging or excessive menstruation. It is also said to have an excellent effect on female organs.
