KEY INGREDIENTS:
MAGNESIUM CHELATE: Magnesium is a known natural tranquilizer which enhances manganese utilization and is essential in muscle integrity.
MAGNESIUM SALICYLATE: is a fast-acting analgesic (a pain reliever) that promotes relaxation of traumatized tissue and nervous tension.
CALCIUM CITRATE: is a citrus juice complex of calcium providing a highly bioavailable amount of calcium which is essential for improving the tone and elasticity of muscles and ligaments. Calcium promotes synapses or nerve transmission throughout the body.
MANGANESE CITRATE: It is necessary for the skeletal enzyme system of the body, and is related to tissue integrity and collagen type problems including ligaments and tendons. Manganese helps certain enzymes and local regulators function properly so that we can form the optimal bone matrix or structure for bone strength.
VITAMIN C: is essential to all the body’s chemical reactions, is essential to synthesis of collagen (connective tissue) promoting repair of damaged muscle and cartilage.
ZINC: Zinc helps certain enzymes and local regulators function properly which in turn helps our bodies form the optimal bone matrix or structure for bone strength. The mineral zinc is a constituent of the hydroxyapatite mineral crystals of bone, and plays a role in the regulation of bone turnover. Zinc is also needed for the correct functioning of an enzyme called alkaline phosphatase, which is required for bone mineralization.
BROMELAIN: aids in the utilization of calcium and other ingredients and promotes repair of the traumatized tissue.
CHONDROITIN SULFATE: Chondroitin Sulfate is a mucopolysaccharide found in cartilage, tendons and ligaments, where it is bound to proteins such as collagen and elastin. In our joints, it contributes to strength, flexibility and shock absorption. Current research indicates that supplemental Chondroitin Sulfate may help maintain proper joint function.
CHYMOTRYPSIN (PANCREATIN): A review, published in the journal BioDrugs, evaluated preclinical and clinical trials that used proteolytic (protein-dissolving) enzymes–bromelain, papain, and chymotrypsin –to treat rheumatic disorders. The reviewers noted that, in numerous placebo-controlled studies, treatment with proteolytic enzymes was effective in patients with rheumatic diseases. After examining the studies conducted, the reviewers concluded that oral therapy with proteolytic enzymes produces analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects. The enzymes also have accelerated healing and acted as analgesics in post-traumatic injuries and post-operative swelling.
