Synergistic Topical Herbal Oil Formula
Natural Support for Sprains, Strains and Joint Pain
ACTION:
This formula, SPR OIL (Sprain and Tissue Repair), is traditionally known as an aromatic liniment. It is applied topically and is used for different problems associated with bruises, torn muscles or ligaments, pain or damage to the joints, twisted ankle, arthritis, rheumatism, gout or bursitis. It is also indicated for overworked or sore joints, like tennis elbow, or when over-exercise causes sore muscles and joints. It is also recommended in all types of chiropractic use. Massage SPR into the spine and the cervical or neck area. This should prove useful especially where trouble is encountered in getting a particular adjustment to hold. This formula should be especially helpful with muscle spasms or where there is irritation because of an injury to the spine or because the spine is very much out of alignment. This oil can be rubbed into the spinal area and be driven into the skin by ultrasound or with hot fermentations or with hydrotherapy.
INDICATIONS MAY INCLUDE: Joint or muscle pain, inflammation and bruising.
KEY INGREDIENTS:
ARNICA FLOWERS: is a universal remedy for any deep muscular soreness, or tenderness. Arnica helps to promote healing of wounds, bruises and irritations. It is also used for weak circulation and for impaired nerve innervation. Arnica also helps to relieve swelling and congestion in the area of trauma.
ST. JOHN’S WORT: This herb is used to heal bruises, torn muscles and tendons and is indicated for the treatment of nerve damage sometimes associated with these conditions. It has the ability to quiet nerves and thus reduce pain.
CALENDULA FLOWERS: May speed tissue healing and may help to stimulate the repair of damaged cells.
CAJEPUT OIL and CAMPHOR: These are used in aromatic liniments because they impart an aromatic quality, and they also help to warm up the area where applied, increasing the circulation. This brings healthy blood into the area and helps remove congestion, which is important for rapid repair of wounds, bruises and contusions, and minimizing swelling.
Size: 4 drams
Suggested Dosage: Applied topically as needed, or as directed by a Health Care Professional.
Contraindications: SPR Oil can be irritating to open wounds, therefore avoid open cuts and abrasions.

Obtaining Optimum Results:
For optimum results the key word is commitment. Unlike prescription and OTC medications which may cause an immediate response in the body, herbal and nutrient therapy can be a slower process. Commitment to a regular daily application schedule is vital, as well as a commitment to applying oil over a period of time, which could be anywhere from several days to several months. This allows enough time for the nutrients and herbs to facilitate change and repair in the body at a cellular level and bring about the desired results.
